Good news! We will be starting our club season early. We are still finalizing the details and will have them out to you as soon as possible. Tryouts will begin in early September so keep an eye out for that via our website, social media, and email. We can't wait to see everyone again and to meet all the new families.

We are in Level 2. This allows us to gather and do intra-team scrimmages.  Tournaments are not allowed in Level 2.

On July 29th, there were two major announcements concerning volleyball in Illinois.

  1. Governor Pritzger announced new guidelines for youth sports. He categorized volleyball as a medium risk sport and at this time, volleyball is at a Level 2 playing level. This level states that we may scrimmage within teams of our organization but no competitive play is allowed. No traveling to play at tournaments is allowed.
  2. The IHSA announced that it would be pushing back it's high school volleyball season to play from February -May.

As a result of these changes, we at Rockford Volleyball are formulating a plan to allow athletes a chance to play and work within the guidelines. We thank you for your patience as we navigate through these times. We will post updates on our site and social media as soon as we have something to share.

Thank you for your support!

Today, the IHSA made the decision to reschedule the high school volleyball season. It will now run from February-May.

Many have reached out asking how this will affect the club volleyball season. As this information is VERY new, there are many unknown variables and as we learn more about the timing and impact of the school volleyball season, we can make a plan for the club season. We will adjust our club schedule accordingly.

Stay tuned for more information.
